LEGO® Serious Play® has been used by some of the biggest global organisations to innovate, communicate and strategise since the mid 90s. We didn’t make this up (we’re bummed about that bit too…). But we did hone our coaching approach with hundreds of leaders, groups and teams to bring you this LSP x Coaching course, so you too can deliver serious transformations for your clients and teams in a brand new experiential way.

What’s this course all about?

Who’s this course for?

We’ve designed this training for:

  • Coaches: specifically leadership, executive, and neurodiversity coaches looking to deepen their impact on their 1:1 clients

  • Facilitators and team coaches, looking to create more experiential and engaging sessions for clients

  • Leaders who want to develop their skills or design sessions to engage their own teams

  • Educators looking to learn a new methodology to take to students or to the way they design and deliver learning exeperiences

  • L&D, talent and people folks who want to engage their organisation in a more engaging way

You don’t need to be certified or accredited, but you need to have a coaching mindset and approach to what you do!

What will I learn?

We take a very hands-on approach to teaching you how to use LSP. After all, one of the key benefits of this methodology is unlocking a different modality of thinking in clients, and getting them out of their heads and into their hands!

You’ll learn:

  • The fundamentals of LEGO® Serious Play®

  • How to get your clients using it

  • How to structure and run a 1:1 coaching session using LSP for different outcomes

  • How to run a team session leading up to a shared model build (to flex your facilitation skills as well as your coaching ones).

  • We’ll also share our own framework for sessions, and work together to design a session you can run immediately after the course

Gimme all the details!

TL:DR: here are the details you need before deciding to join:

  • It’s online on Zoom

  • It’s live and interactive

  • We’ll send you kits beforehand to your preferred address.

  • The cost for the course is £895

Don’t just take our word for it

Ready to supercharge your sessions?

This course is designed and tested by coaches, facilitators and L&D trainers. We know how hard change can be and how resistant clients and teams can be to it!

And we know you’re feeling a bit meh about that.

You’ve tried workshops. You’ve tried training. You’ve tried empty chairs and SMART goal setting.

You’ve even tried improv maybe? But nothing is reaaaaaally making that change any easier (or any stickier)…

That’s why we’re so excited for you to learn how to use LEGO® Serious Play® to your advantage.

This course will help you shake up the way you coach, train and engage your own clients and teams. Here’s what we’ll cover:

The theory and applications of LEGO® Serious Play® in coaching and facilitation

LEGO® Serious Play® has been going since 1996. It’s a proven methodology used by some of the world’s biggest companies. You’ll learn more about its history, uses and applications in coaching - and hear stories of our own coaching, training and facilitation sessions.

How to run an LSP x Coaching session with different outcomes in 1:1 coaching sessions

We’ll spend most of the first half-day session running through different scenarios for how to integrate LSP into your coaching session to help clients visualise, explore and reframe their thinking. Expect a lot of practice, peer coaching, a lot of sharing and a lot of questions here.

Designing your own session to practice your new skills in a real life scenario

To keep your skills sharp and fresh, we’ll give you time to design your own session and get feedback from the group on your outline. Like any good workshop, the success of an LSP session lies in the prep. So you’ll pick a real life session you want to run, and we’ll help you design the outcome and outline so you can go practice immediately after the course has finished!

How to get yourself and your clients & teams familiar with LSP builds

We’ll run plenty of short and snappy exercises to get you familiar with how to use your bricks in a coaching setting. Expect demos and hands-on practice to get you super comfortable with basic skills builds, and learn how to handle clients’ concerns and questions when getting started with LSP themselves.

How to run an LSP x Coaching team session to encourage communication, collaboration & creativity

We’ll spend the second half-day session focussing on engaging teams. We’ll share our framework for designing a successful LSP workshop that encourages teams to open up, and share their experiences, needs, strengths, and ambitions. Expect to flex your facilitation skills here.

All the logistics to get you running your first session immediately afterwards!

We want you to walk away 100% confident in running your own sessions. At the end of Day 2, we’ll spend a bit of time talking logistics and answering any questions you might have. We’ll talk kits, handling objections, “selling” LSP to clients and anything else that might come to mind for you after all your practicing.

After this course, your sessions will look a bit different…

Hi there, I’m Amale

I’m the founder of The Brick Coach and your trainer for this course. I spent the last 15 years helping clients navigate, and enjoy, change. Most of that time in strategy and innovation consulting. I am an accredited ICF Coach, and a certified LEGO® Serious Play® facilitator.

After using LEGO® Serious Play® in innovation for over 5 years and seeing its impact on clients, I wanted to incorporate it in my coaching practice. Since then, I have used it to help clients in 1:1 sessions, in workshops and in group coaching sessions. And the impact has been incredible.

That’s why I decided to share this training with you, so you too, and your clients & teams, can benefit from this incredibly experiential and immersive technique. I can’t wait to see you at the training!

Got any questions?

If you have any other questions, or for any other support, please get in touch.

  • It’s a proven methodology that’s been used by some of the world’s biggest companies to innovate at pace. It’s a playful way of tackling serious questions and a great way to help resolve conflict and build consensus.

  • In coaching, we’re often helping clients visualise a goal, explore limiting beliefs, or define a way forward. LSP is a great way to make all that feel a lot more concrete. Instead of visualising a goal in your mind, you can physically see it come to life, and you can keep the model to check progress and to stay accountable.

  • Yes! We’ve worked with hundreds of clients using this method, in 1:1 settings, in workshop settings, and in group and team settings.

They’ve included C-suites and junior designers, and range in scale from small agencies to large global household brands.

I’s especially powerful with clients with different learning styles, especially ADHD and Autism spectrum.

  • This is a hands-on, immersive learning experience. We want you to try out LSP for yourself, and get plenty of practice so you can run your first session immediate after you finish the course.

You’ll learn how to design and run 1:1 and team sessions, and will get to learn a little bit about the facilitation side of LSP. Please note, this is not a facilitation course, so if you’re new to facilitation, this course won’t teach you the skills you need to become an effective facilitator.

We’ll also cover some theory and leave plenty of time for reflection and questions throughout the day.

  • Yes! The course in itself is fantastic, and you’ll get a shiny new digital certificate to show off on your social media and on LI if you want.

You’ll also get lifetime access to a community of other LSP trained coaches to stay in touch with and troubleshoot things when they come up. We plan on adding events and networking sessions to bring the community together later in the year, so you’ll get invited to those sessions too.

You’ll also get the opportunity to join our network of associate coaches and we’ll assign you briefs when they come in.

  • We get it, the training isn’t cheap. But it’s the best value on the market. You will pay upwards of £2000 for some other training courses, and some of them are not even designed for coaches (they’re just labelled that way…)

But we want you to join if you think this would benefit your practice. Get in touch with us at hi@thebrick.coach to discuss payment plans.

  • We plan on running this training every couple of months.

We’ll also be adding in different time slots to accommodate our friends in other timezones.

If this training doesn’t work for you, get in touch and we’ll keep you posted when new dates are released.

  • We’ll be sending everyone an LSP kit in the post. The registration will close 7 days before the training starts, to make sure everyone gets their kits on time.

  • The training course itself is 10 hours total, running over 2 consecutive days.

  • You’ll get a few emails from us.

The first one will be immediately after you book. We’ll be asking you for your physical address so we can ship your LSP kit to you in time for the training.

You’ll then get an invite with a Zoom link to access the training.

And you’ll get a reminder a few days before the training to make sure you’ll set.

  • Life happens, we get it.

If you cancel your booking up to 14 days before the start of the course, we’ll give you a refund or book you onto another date. The reservation fee is not refundable.

If you cancel your booking within 14 days of the start of the course, we’ll book you onto our next available date or another future date that works for you. We can’t refund you as it would be impossible for us to rebook the slot.

    No shows won’t be refunded.

  • If you’ve registered and attended the course, we’ll send you your digital certificate to your chosen email and add you to our graduate-only community.

Can’t make this date but want to join the next session?

Leave us your details and we’ll keep you posted on new dates as we release them.
